Paul, Barnabas and Titus Travel to Jerusalem

Purpose of Trip: To dispute "Salvation by Faith in Christ" in contrast to "Practicing the Laws of Moses"

"Some men came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the brothers: "Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved." This brought Paul and Barnabas into sharp dispute and debate with them. So Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question" (Acts 15:1-2).

We know that Paul and Barnabas along with some other brothers went to Jerusalem to dispute the idea of circumcision. According to Galatians 2:1-5, Titus, an uncircumcised gentile went along with Paul and Barnabas. This is the key that solidifies that the 2nd trip to Jerusalem occurred in AD 49 to dispute that a person must follow the Old Testament laws to be a Christian.

Based on this biblical evidence, it is unlikely that Jesus would not have been crucified in the year AD 33.
